Makeup represents the "girly" side of my personality. I attended Elite Pro Online Makeup Institute for 6 months before applying for a license. I became a LA licensed makeup artist in April of 2009. Since becoming licensed, I have improved a great deal in each aspect of makeup application and it also helped to increase my ridiculous addiction to makeup collecting. Though I have such a great love and passion for makeup artistry, I do not consider it a job; I do it just for fun and because I enjoy showing and teaching everyone about it.
I have had my YouTube channel since November of 2008 and this blog since September of 2009. In the beginning, I started both of them just to have something to do as a hobby. Since gaining more subscribers, I have learned to take it more seriously and try to update both as much as possible. Since having both of these along with my Twitter account, I have made so many new friends and have met so many awesome people. I love every one of them for being so supportive and encouraging. It warms my heart to know so many people care about watching my videos and hearing what I have to say. Quality is more important to me than quantity. With that being said, I try to stay in touch with each of my subscribers on Twitter, answering any questions they may have.
Aside from makeup, the Spanish language is the love of my life. I have been in love since taking my first Spanish course during my sophomore year of high school. I have begun to practice a topic every day in hopes of becoming completely fluent one day. I have taken 4 years of Spanish in school altogether (3 in high school and 1 in college). My plan is to raise all my kids in a bilingual home upon completing all my schooling. It may sound impossible and crazy at this point, but I'm determined to do so.
I am a lot more serious about school, receiving higher education, and maximizing my career potential than anything else, which represents my "nerdy" side. I have been a college student since fall of 2008, and I am currently a senior studying Business Management. Upon receiving my Bachelor of Arts, I plan on continuing through school to get a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management. Finally after receiving that, I plan on continuing through a professional program to obtain a PhD in a business field. I am receiving my bachelor's degree in 3 years, plan to receive my MBA in 1 year, and my PhD in 2 years, all graduating with honors.
I have huge goals set for myself and future, and I intend to reach all of them only with God's help and continuous prayer. He has been with me through each step of my life and I trust 100% that He will continue to do so.
